The Influenza Unit is a research and diagnostic laboratory composed of underlying units to do ELISA, Cellular Immunity study, PCR, Tissue & Cell Culture, Exraction & Purification of Protein, Electrophoresis and Immunoblotting.
Research in different
levels as virus propagation, extraction and purification of viral
proteins, extraction and amplification of genomic RNA, serological
and cellular immunity study in diagnosis,
prevention and treatment of disease
are major goals of Influenza Unit.
Collaboration with other research and educational centers is well established in the Unit. Research and thesis projects in related area are most welcomed.
