  1. Since 2000-present: worked at Immunology Department of Pasteur Institute of Iran as assistant professor, teaching immunology tp Ph. D. and MSc students, supervising thesis, performing flow cytometry and PCR, RT-PCR, cloning.

  2. Since 1991-2000: worked at Immunology Department of Pasteur Institute of Iran as research assistant performing cell culture, cytokine assay, protein purification and immuno-chemistry techniques.

  3. Since 1986-1991: worked at Immunology Department of Pasteur Institute of Iran as laboratory technician performing all serology tests.

Grants:  

  1. Study of IFN-gR expression and signaling during experimental cutaneous leishmaniasis in murine model.  The grant received financial support from Institute Pasteur of Iran. (Finished).

  2. Study of the effect of Thalidomide on experimental cutaneous leishmaniasis. The grant received financial support from Institute Pasteur of Iran. (Finished).

  3. Assessment of IFN-gR a &b chain expression and IFN-gR signaling in human VL (on going).

  4. Cloning expression of K39 antigen of L. Infantum and setting up Elisa kit  for diagnosis of human visceral leishmaniasis (financial support from Biotechnology research net, on going).

  5. Assessment of IFN-gR a &b chain mRNA during experimental cutaneous leishmaniasis in murine model (financial support from TWAS, Finished). 

 

Fellowship:

  1. Worked in Clinical Science Department, London: School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine from 1993 till 1994 under supervision of Prof. John Rayens studying the potential role of Serum Amyloid A in induction of Alziemer's Disease, trained for protein purification techniques including column chromatography, HPLC, affinity chromatography, TLC, RIA, cell culture and cytokine bioassay for IL-6, TNF, and cytokine measurements for IL-1 and IL-1RA by lab-made ELISA.

  2. Worked in the unite of Immunologie des Leishmanoises, Institut Pasteur de la Guyane Française, from June 2002 till June 2003, under Dr Pascal Launois supervision studying the preferential expression of TCR V beta gene family in biopsies of cutaneous leishmaniasis patients due to L. guyanensis compared to the same gene expression of antigen stimulated PBMCs. Trained for molecular biology techniques.
